Interior design of Elphel office space presented certain challenges related to the technological processes of optical calibration. Calibration of the lenses has to be performed with the use of large, 10 x 22 feet, specially deigned pattern, and in controlled light conditions, therefore the room has to be completely separated from other sources of light while calibration is happening. We also had to maximize the use of office space when calibration is not being performed, which resulted in angled walls and large garage door separating calibration room from the rest of the facility.
